Reception

We have a 60 place Reception split into 2 classes of 30. In Reception we have four staff members. Two class teachers and two teaching assistants. Although we are split into 2 classes we are free flow and the children can access both classrooms and the large outdoor area.

The Reception day starts at 8:45am and the doors close at 9:00am

Children are given a piece of fruit and milk if they wish or they can bring in their own healthy snack such as fruit, cereal bar or rice cakes. They can also bring in their own named water bottle which can be filled up using the water dispenser throughout the day.

Children are entitled to a free hot school dinner up until Year 2. These can be ordered before 8:00am using the school app.

Children can bring in a packed lunch from home if they do not want a school dinner.

We try our very best to ensure you can come into school to work with your child at least once every half term.

Our school day finishes at 3:30pm
