The DEN is an area in our school which supports children with any additional needs.
Intimate care and medical needs are provided by qualified and experienced staff in our specialist Den area.

Responsibilities and duties include :

Links to the Special Educational Needs and Disability Co-ordinator (SENDCO)

Co-ordinating the provision for pupils with Physical Disabilities and Complex Medical Needs

Management of Safeguarding and Looked After Children

Co-ordinating of all our behaviour support groups which include nurture groups and supporting emotional health

Provision for More Able and Talented children

Management of medication being administered in school

Teaching

delivering specific speech and language programmes
