School Council

The School Ambassadors and Year Group Reps are an integral part of Lindens Academy.
Children are invited to put themselves forward as candidates to become Year Group Reps (Year 1-5) and School Ambassadors (Year 6). Candidates present a manifesto to their class and a demographic election takes place.

Year Group Reps are changed termly.
The Year Group Reps and School Ambassadors aim to represent 'pupil voice' throughout the school year, reporting to staff any concerns or ideas that students have.

School Ambassadors and Year Group Reps are responsible for deciding which charities will be supported during the year. Through democratic debates, decisions are made and at this point, the team of Year Group Reps and School Ambassadors are tasked with planning, promoting and carrying out chosen activities and events.
