General Information

School Times

Play times and Dinner times

During lunch time, children can chose to have a packed lunch from home or a school dinner in the dinner hall.

Please remember that ‘Universal Free School Meals’ stop at the end of Year 2. If you are eligible for ‘Free School Meals’ please ensure you complete a ‘Free School Meal’ application form (available from the school office).

Children are encouraged to bring a healthy snack into school to consume during morning break.

Water bottles: Children will need to bring in their own clearly labelled water bottle from home each day. These bottles must be taken home at the end of each day for cleaning and refilling. There are facilities within school for children to refill their bottles throughout the day.

Uniform Expectations

Please write your child’s name in each item of clothing so that we can return any lost items.

Your child needs to wear:

  • A white polo shirt
  • Dark grey trousers/ skirt/ pinafore dress
  • Purple Lindens jumper
  • Purple and white checked summer dress
  • Sensible black shoes

Birthday treat

Children can wear their own clothes to school on their birthday. Should their birthday fall on a weekend, children can come to school on the Friday before wearing their own clothes.

PE Kit

Children will need to wear black tracksuit bottoms with a white polo shirt or white t-shirt. Children will also need to wear their purple Lindens school jumper.

During the warmer weather, children will be permitted to wear black shorts.

If PE lessons are taking place outdoors, it is encouraged that children bring a spare pair of trainers into school as the field can get very muddy at times.
